These terms govern your use of beanbard.com and any purchase you make from us. By placing an order, you agree to these terms. Please read them before buying.
Bean Bard is a UK-based speciality coffee roaster selling direct to consumers online. For any queries, contact us at brew@beanbard.com.
When you place an order, you are making an offer to purchase. We accept your offer when we send you an order confirmation email. We reserve the right to decline any order, for example if a product is unavailable or if we suspect fraudulent activity.
Prices are shown in GBP and include VAT where applicable. We reserve the right to change prices at any time, but the price shown at the time of your order is the price you will pay.
Payment is taken at the time of order via Stripe. We accept major debit and credit cards. Your payment details are processed securely by Stripe and are never stored on our servers.
We ship to UK addresses only. Standard shipping is £4.95. Orders over £30 qualify for free shipping. We roast on Mondays and Thursdays and dispatch within 48 hours of roasting. Estimated delivery is 2–4 business days after dispatch.
Delivery dates are estimates only. We are not liable for delays caused by the carrier, adverse weather, or circumstances outside our control. Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery.
We take care to describe our products accurately. Tasting notes are indicative — coffee flavour is subjective and can vary with brewing method, equipment, and water quality. If you have questions about whether Blend #1 is right for your setup, email us before ordering.
Please read our Refunds & Returns Policy for full details. In summary: as a perishable food product, roasted coffee is exempt from the standard 14-day cooling-off right under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. However, if your order is damaged, incorrect, or not as described, we will always make it right.
You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure. Do not share your login details. We are not liable for any loss arising from unauthorised access to your account where you have failed to keep your credentials secure.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that are used fraudulently or in breach of these terms.
All content on this site — including text, images, the Bean Bard name, and logo — is owned by or licensed to Bean Bard. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content without our written permission.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Bean Bard's liability to you in connection with any order is limited to the value of that order. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or special losses. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
We may update these terms from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top will reflect any changes. Your continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
